Drongo Nature Sounds Library is an archive of recordings of the sounds of birds and other animals of Sri Lanka and the sounds of the island’s natural landscapes. It began with two main objectives in 1997: publishing compilations of bird sounds recorded by the founder, Deepal Warakagoda, and extending a collection of nature sounds of Sri Lanka. The first institution of its kind in the country, its scope was widened to publish compilations of these sounds for not only educational but also recreational purposes.
